CEMI Social Impact
Shared prosperity should be a fundamental value of our societies. AI brings extraordinary opportunities — and real risks to specific sectors, roles, and people if the transition is not planned deliberately. Our social-impact branch exists to make sure the bridge to the next era is crossed with as few casualties as possible, and that its gains reach everyone.
Our commitments
Ethical, responsible AI
We hold ourselves and our work to a discipline of ethics, honesty, and responsibility in how AI is built, adopted, and used.
Support for social organizations
We help NGOs, non-profits, and mission-driven organizations adopt and use AI effectively and ethically — extending their reach and their impact.
A just workforce transition
We build programs to mitigate AI's impact on the workforce — reskilling, compensation, and inclusion for the roles and people most exposed to the shift.
AI for underserved communities
We work to make AI accessible to underserved communities, lifting individuals and communities into shared prosperity through capacity building.
Six wide social-impact initiatives
The same technology that reshapes work can leave people behind — or carry them forward. We choose the latter. Six initiatives, one conviction: AI-powered learning should serve first those who need it most. Built and delivered free or subsidized on our Smoother Experiences platform.
Workforce Transition
For those in the roles AI is transforming most urgently. Tangible tools to pivot toward the role that grows, not the one that disappears.

We do not scale by doing everything ourselves. We partner with social-impact and community organizations, academic institutions, and sectoral associations — the people who already hold the trust of the communities we want to serve. They coordinate the programs and events; we give them everything behind them.
You bring the community
Social-impact and community organizations, schools and universities, sectoral associations and foundations. You know your audience, their language, and what they actually need.
We bring the platform
Immediate access to our full catalogue of learning programs, published in English, Spanish and French — already built, already running, no development required.
You coordinate; we support
You arrange the programs and in-person events on your calendar. We support you throughout — onboarding, facilitator preparation, learner support, and the administrative and educational tools to run it.
You keep the relationship
Your participants stay yours. Certificates carry your name, the data is yours, and your team keeps the capability after the program ends.
Partners get their own digital academy
- Your own campus — a dedicated academy on its own address, carrying your name, logo, colours and typography.
- Your own catalogue — choose the programs that fit your community from the full library; add your own.
- Your own certificates — issued under your academy, with your logo.
- Your own administration — your team administers enrolments, cohorts and reporting, with full educational and administrative tools.
- Private by default — partner academies are not publicly listed unless you choose to be.
This is the Impact Arc in practice rather than in principle: we engage and enable, then hand over ownership and connect partners to each other. Reach multiplies because capability transfers — not because we grow.
